The third generation of the Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS) in the area of functional clothing consists of thermal underpants and a thermal undershirt. The mesh structure fabric is very stretchable and thereby provides optimal freedom of movement. The honeycomb fleece on the inside of the underwear keeps the warm air close to the body and simultaneously channels moisture away through the ducts. The good insulating property thus enables excellent wearing comfort in any climate.
