Use of the Hydrodouche

Before using the Hydrodouche, make sure that the hydro wand is placed upright in the holder and the flow regulator is fully pushed down in the off position.

Start your shower and choose a suitable water temperature. Let the water chamber fill with water until it overflows. Take the hydro wand out of the holder while keeping the tip pointing downwards. Open the flow regulator fully so that water can flow through the hose, displacing air in the process. Once a steady flow is reached, check the water temperature again to make sure it's correct, and set the flow regulator to the desired level. Make sure there is enough water in the chamber for the intended use, and refill if necessary. Alternatively, the showerhead can be positioned above the chamber to provide a constant flow.

Assembly of the Hydrodouche

It is important to ensure that the Hydrodouche is properly assembled to guarantee full use. Incorrect assembly and/or misuse can lead to suboptimal results and may void the warranty.

    The Hydrodouche includes:
    • Adjustable safety strap
    • Mounting bracket / Hydro wand holder
    • Water chamber
    • Chamber connector
    • Hose
    • Flow regulator
    • Hydro wand connector
    • Hydro wand

To assemble, first attach the mounting bracket to the hydro chamber. Note that the bracket can be reversed to position the hydro wand holder to the left or right of the chamber as desired. The bracket clamps into position with a positive click, so be careful not to pinch your finger between the inside of the bracket and the chamber.

Thread the safety strap through the opening in the bracket. Determine a suitable position for the chamber in the shower area. Note that the chamber must be positioned under the shower head to fill. Adjust the safety strap accordingly.

Attach the hydro wand to the wand connector using the screw thread. Be careful not to overtighten or cross the threads, and position the hydro wand in the holder. Attach the chamber connector to the chamber assembly in a similar manner.

Lead the hose through the flow regulator before connecting the chamber connector and the wand connector. The regulator can be oriented in either direction and at a position on the hose that is most convenient for use. The nozzle and chamber connectors have a simple friction fit, and the hose can be slid on and off as needed.
Your Hydrodouche is now ready for use.

Cleaning and Maintenance

After use, the Hydrodouche should be disassembled, washed with warm soapy water, and thoroughly rinsed. Ensure that the flow regulator is removed and that no water is trapped in the hose. Let it dry and store in a dry place away from direct sunlight. With normal use, the Hydrodouche is maintenance-free, however, slight discoloration of the translucent hose may occur after prolonged use. This is a natural phenomenon and is completely harmless.
