Phurba dagger

The Phurba is also called the Demon Dagger. A Phurba is a ritual instrument primarily used by Nepalese shamans and Tibetan Buddhists.
A Phurba is a very powerful instrument for banishing negative energies or demons, casting them into the lower realms, or nailing them down so there is no escape. The trinity of the dagger, converging at the tip, represents the three poisons of greed, hatred, and delusion. These are transformed by thrusting the dagger.
A Phurba should always be blessed and attuned before use. This way, it can serve well in its use. To condemn negative energies or demons to the lower astral world, the Phurba is thrust forcefully into the earth. When cleaning spaces, a bowl with rice, grains, or soil can also be used.
