Phurba Dagger

The Phurba is also called a Demon Dagger. A Phurba is a ritual instrument predominantly used by Nepalese shamans and Tibetan Buddhists.
A Phurba is a very powerful instrument for banishing negative energies or demons, driving them to the lower realms or nailing them down so that there is no escape for them. The trinity of the dagger, converging at the tip, represents the three poisons of greed, hatred, and delusion. These are transformed by thrusting the dagger.
A Phurba should always be blessed and attuned to oneself before use. This way, it can serve well in its use. To condemn negative energies or demons to the lower astral world, the Phurba is thrust powerfully into the ground. When cleansing rooms, a bowl with rice, grain, or soil can also be used.
