Tibetan prayer flags, short, in set

Yet, they hold deep meaning for the people living there. They are always meant to remind of the divine. The mantras and images on the flags are meant to bring protection and blessings to the entire universe and all life. Problems or sufferings are given over to the wind for transformation through the hanging of a prayer flag, so that life can flow again. The colorful flags symbolically represent the five elements. Over time, prayer flags dissolve through the effects of sun, wind, and rain. This is also desired, because in this way, the blessing can enter into the five elements.
