Tibetan prayer flags small

The mantras and images on the flags are meant to bring protection and blessings to the entire universe and all life. Problems or sufferings are handed over to the wind for transformation by hanging up a prayer flag, allowing life to flow again. The colorful flags symbolically represent the five elements. Over time, prayer flags dissolve under the influence of sun, wind, and rain. This is also desired, because in this way, the blessings can reach the five elements.
