Mortar made of marble with wooden pestle

With a mortar, woods, resins, or flowers can be finely crushed and ground. A fantastic aroma is created when the fragrance-intensive plants are freshly ground.
Lovingly hand-crushed plants with a mortar are always to be preferred over an electric grinding, as the energy of the grinder flows into it. The mass gains a high vibration when we, for example, recite mantras or prayers during the grinding.
Additionally, a mortar can also be used to make all kinds of pastes or creams.
