Since ancient times, in Germanic traditions, smudge bundles have been tied and smoked for specific purposes. Whether for the Twelfth Night, the seasonal feasts, or special occasions – local incense was always present to purify the atmosphere, to beseech the gods for their favor, or to fumigate disease. This ancient knowledge about the effect of plants, grown with love, has been revived in collaboration with a farm in Southeast Europe. All plants are carefully and protectively grown in controlled organic farming, and lovingly hand-harvested, dried, and bound.
