White Tara

She is revered as a symbol of purity. The most distinctive feature of the White Tara is her seven eyes. In addition to her natural eyes, she has additional ones on her forehead and in the palms of her hands and soles of her feet, so she can perceive those in need in all corners of the world. Known as "the Seven-Eyed" - equipped with supernormal organs of perception, she is considered by many Mahayana adherents to possess supreme wisdom.
