Green Tara

She embodies the feminine deity itself. Her name means both "Star" and "Savior". In Tibet, she is called "Dölma", which simply means mother. There, she is revered as the mother of all Buddhas. Her right hand is directed downwards in the gesture of granting wishes, while her left hand shows the gesture of granting protection. She is revered as a protector against all dangers. At any time, whether day or night, she is ready to intervene protectively and helpfully.
